Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 20, 2026
This app is for informational and educational purposes only. WealthTrackr, provided by Apercall LLC, is not a financial advisor, and the app does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
Our Privacy Promise
- If you sign in, your data is stored in your WealthTrackr cloud account to enable sync and web access.
- If you do not sign in, your data is kept in-memory only and may be lost when the app closes.
- No ads, and we do not sell your data.
- Firebase analytics and crash reports are off until you enable either option in Settings.
Information We Collect
Account Information (When You Sign In)
If you create and use a WealthTrackr cloud account, we collect and store:
- Email address (used as your login identifier).
- Password hash (your password is never stored in plaintext).
Financial Data You Provide (When Signed In)
When you use WealthTrackr while signed in, the app syncs the data you enter to your account so it is available across your devices, including:
- Categories and financial items (assets and liabilities) you create.
- Net worth snapshots and history.
- Monthly check-ins, including credit score and the financial amounts you enter (debt-to-income, cash flow, and savings rate are derived from those amounts).
- Goals.
- App settings and preferences.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Financial Information
- Bank account numbers or details
- Credit card information
- Social Security numbers
- Investment account details
- Financial institution login credentials
Personal Information
- Government-issued ID numbers
- Physical address or location data
- Date of birth or age
- Photos, videos, or audio recordings
- Contact lists or address books
Device Access
- Camera or microphone access
- GPS location or location history
- Browsing history or search history
- Device identifiers for advertising purposes
Information We May Collect (Optional)
If you enable usage analytics, Firebase Analytics may collect app navigation, feature-use events, basic device information, and interaction data. If you separately enable crash reports, Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash and non-fatal error diagnostics plus basic device information. You can change either choice in Settings → Privacy & Security. These choices are stored on this device for the current account.
How Your Data Is Stored
- Cloud-synced data is stored in your WealthTrackr cloud account (PostgreSQL).
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS between the app, our Cloud API, and the REST API.
- Authentication tokens are stored using platform secure storage.
API Access
You can create personal API keys from Settings → Cloud → API Access. These keys provide read-only access to your own data — your net worth, assets, and liabilities — through our REST API, using the X-API-Key header. API keys cannot modify or delete your data, and they only ever expose your own account's data. Keep your keys secret; anyone with a key can read your data. You can revoke keys at any time, and we may rate-limit or revoke keys to prevent abuse.
Your Rights and Controls
- View: all your data is visible within the app.
- Edit: modify or delete any financial information.
- Export: download your data (for example, as JSON).
- Delete: delete your cloud account, which deletes the associated cloud data.
- Analytics: enable or disable analytics and crash reporting at any time.
Children's Privacy
WealthTrackr is designed for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
